A pattern used for editing multiple values inline. You would use this pattern when the user needs to edit multiple fields of data. It is best to clearly indicate to the user they are in edit mode. It is also important for the switching between modes to be seamless.

With the Table Edit, the user can adjust tables and spreadsheets by dragging and resizing. Excell was a good example of this.
Avoid making the mouse hover activate editing in cells because it makes interaction difficult and can "trap" users.\
Try to use a conventional layout for cell navigation - Like Microsoft Excel.
